you need to obtain an API key and to obtain an API key you need to be registered
on the site. To see the statistical details of your API key and/or download and
use any of the libraries and plug-ins provided by Waegis, you also need to be registered
on Waegis site.
Waegis can freely change and modify the existing site and service software and design
without any notice and without any permission from its users or visitors. You can
terminate your account at any time if you don’t agree with these changes. The termination
of an account is described in the section “Termination” in this page.
Registration
The main part of Waegis site and service requires you to be registered on the site.
Registration requires your agreement to privacy policy and these terms of service.
By registering on the site you’ll be able to obtain an API key and download the
libraries and plug-ins.
By registering on Waegis site, you allow Waegis to contact you via the email address
that you have provided in order to notify you about site and service changes and
to inform you about any urgent case. You’re solely responsible to respond to any
email that Waegis sends you in less than 7 business days otherwise you have allowed
Waegis to decide on behalf of you on any situation.
You need to keep your account information private and secure to not allow others
use them illegally. You’re fully responsible for whatever is done with your account
and API key.
Obtaining an API Key
The main part of your usage of the Waegis site and service is, obtaining an API
key from your account. An API is a unique string value that is generated for you
to let you use the API. You should keep this value private and not share it with
others otherwise there may be some illegal use of your account. In this case you’re
solely responsible to whatever is done by others with your API key. In general you’re
fully responsible for whatever is done with your API keys.
There are some limitations for free and commercial API keys. Waegis can change these
limitations to increase or decrease them with or without notice but users can terminate
their accounts at any time if they don’t agree with the changes.
By registering and obtaining an API key from Waegis, you agree to apply the API
key in order to use Waegis service and its API with a client library in order to
initialize your site instances, check your incoming content for being spam or legitimate
(ham), and also report spams and hams to improve Waegis service. You agree that
you use the API under the conditions that are described in
API documentation section. If you do not use your API key in a normal manner
(described by API specification), then Waegis has the legal right to block your
account or your API keys temporary or permanently. In this case, you have no right
to ask Waegis to unblock your account or API key. Waegis may do this after receiving
enough evidences from you to prove your legal use of its API.
You also agree that you use an API key only and only for the domain that you have
used to obtain the API key for. If you use an API key for another domain, then Waegis
reserves its right to block your account and/or your API keys without notice. You
need to use an API key for valid site instances as well. Any attempt to cheat on
Waegis system and use a single site instance in turn of multiple site instances
will cause your account and/or your API keys to be blocked by Waegis without notice.
When trying to obtain an API key, you must consider that Waegis knows you as the
owner or webmaster of the site or blog and you’re responsible for this. With enough
evidences of your illegal registration of someone else’s site on Waegis, we can
block your account without notice.
Free API Keys
By default you retrieve a free API key from Waegis by entering your site’s URL and
title. These are mandatory for the operation of the site and service. A free API
key costs nothing and may have some limitations. Waegis has the right to upper or
lower these limitations without notice or finish its service to free API keys at
any time 10 days after a public announcement on its blog. Its your duty to check
this blog or subscribe to its RSS feed to stay informed on latest changes.
Content on Other Sites
One of the biggest concerns for Waegis clients is that their own content is transferred
to a third party site and what will happen to them. Waegis clearly states that it
doesn’t store any incoming data including the content of other sites (its clients)
that are passed to its API permanently, and uses temporary storage to help improve
its service. This is of course for a very short period of time and item will be
removed from the servers after this period.
Waegis only applies an automated process on the incoming data to check them based
on some algorithms and then may or may not break the content and use its words and
elements for further operation of its service. After this process the original content
cannot be retrieved.
As of the third party content referred by Waegis site via its blog, press or testimonials,
Waegis has no responsibility for the content provided by these sites and they’re
solely responsible for their own content.
Limitation of Warranties
Unless exclusively described somewhere on the site, Waegis, its employees, its contractors
and its partners have no responsibility to guarantee any uptime, quality or accuracy
(in identifying spam or legitimate content) of site and service for users.
Limitation of Liability
Unless exclusively described somewhere on the site, Waegis, its employees, its contractors
and its partners are not liable to you or any other party for anything that directly
or indirectly causes damages, business interruption or loss of data for you, your
sites, and your partners as a result of using Waegis site or service.
Copyright
You’re responsible to respect to Waegis’ copyright when using the site and service
or referring to it, its text content, downloadable content or service API and agree
to not use its content (text or software) in an illegal way.
You’re the sole responsible for your usage of what Waegis has provided as text content,
downloadable software or service API.

user accounts at any time with or without notice with or without reason.
