Background
We have a strong policy for the site and service that lets us guarantee our service
for our clients. The privacy policy is a very important and critical element of
Waegis, so we need to take care about it seriously.
Generally our privacy policy is written on top of three solid principles that we
want to consider:
- Do store the least and enough information of users and sites. We
just collect what we need!
- Do not share the information with anyone else unless in a few cases
that are described in privacy clearly.
- Do not store the incoming data for service permanenly except of
refinments of the service for a short and temporary period in a %100 secure way.
Waegis is an online internet service that targets
spam filtering field and is written and managed by Keyvan
Nayyeri, and respects to the following policy. Waegis undertakes to act
according to this privacy policy and its corresponding
terms of service. Changes to this privacy are possible under the conditions
described in the policy.
All users must agree to this privacy policy and our terms of service in order to
be able to register on our site and start using our services.
In this privacy the terms “Waegis”, “we”, “us” and “our” all refer to the same concept
that is the legal identity behind Waegis site and service. Also the terms “user”
and “client” both refer to registered users or their sites that use Waegis service,
and the term “visitor” refers to visitors in general whether they’re registered
or not.
Waegis is always responsive to any question or problem regarding its privacy policy
or terms of service. You can contact us
and let us know about your concerns, and we’ll respond quickly.
Visitor Information
1- For the purposes of site (and service) operation, statistics, and security, Waegis
aggregates some visitor information such as Internet Protocol address (IP), browser
type, client preferences and similar stuff that are commonly provided by web browsers,
and are used by many other sites as well. Waegis doesn’t use this information to
identify its visitors and doesn’t store this information in a per-visitor basis.
It only collects a general report of this information for abovementioned purposes.
We also aggregate some statistical information from users for analyzing site and
service operations, and also to publish them publicly but we only publish general
summary reports and never aggregate statistics about individual users and visitors.
2- Waegis undertakes to gather visitor information and aggregated statistics only
for three purposes of site (and service) operation, security, and statistics and
also undertakes to not share this information with anyone else except in two cases:
(i) to comply with laws (ii) to use in a secure and private way for future development
of Waegis software.
Personal Identifying Information
Waegis needs to gather some personal information and personal-identifying information
from its visitors and users. The type and level of the information varies by the
type of interaction from a visitor or user. Waegis may ask the visitor or user to

1- For general visitors (anonymous or registered) Waegis only aggregates the information
described in the “Visitor Information” section.
2- For registered users Waegis needs to gather their email address and password
to let them use the service. Waegis asks visitors to enter such information and
then alows them to register on the site after passing the activation process. User’s
email is used (i) to identify the user and (ii) to notify the user on certain situations
such as changes in this privacy or terms of service.
Waegis undertakes to store the personal identifying information in a secure way
where they’re accessible only to Waegis managers and administrators. User passwords
are also stored in a hashed format that is not retrievable.

their site’s title automatically and/or ask them to enter it manually, and also
asks them to provide their site’s URL. Waegis applies this information for site
and service operation and security purposes, and undertakes to only share them (i)
to comply with laws (ii) to let its managers, administrators, employees and contractors
to manage and develop the site and service (after signing an agreement that reflects
this privacy clearly).
4- For registered users Waegis also stores the site instance URLs of the sites that
registered users have initialized for their accounts. A site instance is a URL that
is a part of the site that user has added to his or her account. Waegis gathers
this information for the purposes of operation, security and statistics and undertakes
to not share them unless in two cases (i) to comply with laws (ii) for future development.
Information Security
Waegis undertakes to store all its software information in a secure way. This security
is achieved in three layers.
